Larapin Designs | Lafayette house

I always love getting brought on to photograph the latest home projects from Larapin aka Jordan Bagus because I adore an old home revitalization so much, there’s nothing better than the original character of a home with history getting a little refresher with tasteful design touches, and Jordan always nails it. Her latest home project, located in the City Park West neighborhood of Denver, is another shining example of the magic she can bring to an old home, rather than letting it get torn down and turned into another modern box home of Denver. More historic restorations please!

From the olive green front door to the stained glass front room window, the restored hardwood floors and blue tile fireplace, there are so many adorable features to love in this home. Ample storage has been added in the kitchen and primary bedroom, and that afternoon light that the secondary bedroom gets is a swoon. The bright white interiors provide a soothing atmosphere, in addition to the updated white-washed brick exterior, a clean and fresh palette throughout. The kitchen is stunning with a light sage color theme for the cabinets, high end range, built in banquette, and neutral checkerboard floors. Turn the corner and you’ll find youself with a view of the vintage clawfoot tub in the bathroom, set against a zia tile backsplash. No detail left forgotten in this lovingly restored home.

This home was featured on Apartment Therapy here, and happened to go viral on tiktok as well! Turns out we’re not the only ones who can appreciate a cute little old house.
